A clear example of this aspect are the trials related to the Culture, Tourism, and Entertainment (CTE) domain that have been performed in Turin (Italian cluster) which included also various use cases from the Open Call.\nThrough the use of XR technologies, the use case '\u201cExtended XR Museum Experience'\u201d aimed to enrich and make more accessible the cultural and tourism experience around 4 Turin'\u2019s museums: Palazzo Madama, Galleria d'\u2019Arte Moderna (GAM), Museo Pietro Micca, and Museo del Risorgimento. The users have been involved since the first phase of the use case definition, through specific design thinking sessions to gather and understand their requirements in terms of experience, functionalities and usability aspects. In this process, also the education departments of the museums were involved to define the storytelling and the contents of the applications based on the users'\u2019 indications. In March 2025, the trials took place in the four museums involving more than 200 users, including students from five Turin high schools as well as museums'\u2019 visitors. The users were also requested to answer questionnaires to collect their feedback about the experience and the technologies used. In particular, innovative solutions based on AI (i.e., interaction with artists'\u2019 avatars) developed by Crossmedia Europe and an XR streaming platform developed by TIM were experimented for the first time with real users.\nThe Open Call use cases further strengthened the result related to users'\u2019 involvement (e.g., 120 for '\u201cRemember Ascari'\u201d, 250 for '\u201cTurin5Games'\u201d, and 370 for '\u201cTorino4U'\u201d) breaking the wall of 1000 users overall.\nThe trials in Turin supported the commitment of the Municipality in leveraging on new technologies to foster new development opportunities in the CTE domain.
