The work also includes measurements involving a 300 GHz reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), with both RIS characterization measurements and measurements within industrial settings to investigate the real impact of RIS on channel parameters. The achievement involves analysis and enhancement of sub-THz industrial channel models. This includes the extension of existing models for industrial environments '\u2014such as the 3GPP TR 38.901 Indoor Factory channel model '\u2014 to accommodate sub-THz frequencies, along with considerations for near-field channel modeling and RIS-assisted channel modeling, which are not commonly addressed in current models and thus require adaptation and extension.
